How Can You Be Praying?

Dear Friends, Family, and Brothers and Sister in Christ,

We would like to share with you an update on the local church and how God is conforming the brethren to the image of Christ.

By God’s grace through expositional preaching, discipleship and prayer we are seeing people’s lives transformed by God’s word through the Spirit. There are brothers and sisters who are going through difficult circumstances financially, emotionally, and spiritually but the circumstances are allowing the church members to step-up through prayer, giving, and service.

We are slowly but surely growing numerically, but as a church we are more concerned for spiritual growth. We can plant and water, but only God can grow and transform souls.

Ministries during the week:

Please continue to pray with us as we minister to the local indigenous people of Cusco, Peru.

Every other Sunday, we as a church, go out into the streets to open-air preach, pass out tracks, and invite people to church. Please pray that we would be lead by the Holy Spirit and that the beautiful name of Jesus would be glorified.

Every Saturday evening, Joe teaches the young people within the church going through books of the Bible. The first Friday of every month the women get together for a time of teaching and fellowship. By God’s grace, both of these ministries is growing in number and spiritual growth is taking place. Please continue praying for these ministries as we pour into the youth and women of the local church.

Children are a blessing from the Lord. Please pray for the children’s hearts as we minister to their needs and teach them who Jesus Christ is and about His saving grace. Please also pray for the workers who pour into the children on a daily bases; that God would sustain them and give them wisdom and strength each Sunday morning and Saturday afternoon.

Please pray for the three Home-Groups throughout the week. This is a wonderful time of fellowship and a great tool for the Body of Christ to be able to uplift each other on a personal level as we live life together.

Why do we go to the unreached people of Peru preaching and teaching? Because we want God’s name and glory to be magnified among the nations. Our vision is to train indigenous leaders and pastors throughout Peru so that they may be better equipped to reach their people for Jesus Christ.

We pray for our supporters regularly and would like to thank you for pouring into our family. We also pray that you may be willing to partner with us that we may continue the work to establish a solid biblical church. Also, pray that God raises up leaders for the ministry and that He would sustain our family as we live and work among the indigenous people of Cusco, Peru and Amazon jungle.
