We have been blessed to be able to come to Michigan this summer to reconnect, visit family and rejuvenate. We are excited to meet with as many of you as possible. To make it easy on everyone, we have the privilege of a few folks helping us out and “Hosting” gatherings for us.

In historic news, we had an amazing group join us from Saginaw Valley State University in May. After a rocky start getting here, they were able to bless many ministries. They visited a church and presented a skit. They celebrated Mother’s Day with a group of older widows and shared a special meal. They had the opportunity to learn about different ways of being a missionary. They were able to visit an orphanage that utilizes volunteers for their nursing staff. They visited the Christian Academy of Guatemala (CAG), Jenna’s school, that has missionary teachers for the missionary kids so that parents serving in Guatemala do not have to worry about their children’s’ education.
The team also blessed home for young mothers. They ministered and shared with the moms, loved and played with the kids, got EVERYONE dancing. This is a beloved thing in Latin countries. They shared lunch with the moms and kids. They clean debris away from their home so that it would reduce the spiders and scorpions. They overall were an amazing experience for the caregivers at the home, the moms of the children, and the children. There was much of God’s love shown.
Jenna’s school, Christian Academy of Guatemala (CAG) has finished the year. That means that we now have a 6th grader, a middle schooler and a kind young lady that doesn’t want to be a “young lady” yet. Jenna is nervous about middle school. Please keep her heart and mind in your prayers this summer as she needs peace for this upcoming year. She is a planner and a worrier and is praying through that, every little bit of prayer cover helps.
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of a plan when we do not know what the end looks like. Thank you for keeping the faith with us.
Lawrence, Jo, and Jenna Adams
